Who am I?

Hi there, my name is Bethany! Otherwise known as Sister Coultrup. I'm a practicing artist, university student, aspiring author, Doctor Who enthusiast, frequent Starbucks customer, lover of all things nerdy, mediocre singer, ex Mountain Dew addict, occasional guitar player, older sister, amateur penny boarder, daughter, and I'm a Mormon.

Right now, I am a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been called to serve in the Australia Adelaide Mission. What do I do as a missionary you ask? Well, my purpose as a missionary is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.

I have always wanted to be a missionary ever since I was a little girl. I remember teachers at church always directing the "one day you'll be a missionary" speech at the boys. Being the stubborn girl I was (and still am) I vowed to myself I would serve a mission to prove that girls can do it too! I have always had that sort of attitude. Since then, my testimony and desire to serve has grown. My reason though has changed. I want to be a missionary so that I can bring others unto our Saviour, Jesus Christ. I love Him with all my heart and soul. He has never failed to comfort or bless me in times of need. The gospel brings me immense joy and I want nothing more than to share it with the world so that others can experience it for themselves.

So here you have found my mission blog, where I will capture my adventures with the written word and digital imagery. I would love for you to join me as I venture into the bush and back again.
